For only $50 you can make some cash from your trash!

Or if you love a secondhand bargain then you're sure to find it amongst the boots full of preloved fashion, books, toys, homewares, tools, bibs & bobs!

WHAT

Buy or sell secondhand clothes, furniture, toys, books and bric-a-brac. We also welcome handmade arts & craft.

WHERE

Located in the car park off Gooding Drive.

Sellers entry is via Market Street.

Buyers line up to enter the Manchester Rd gate - do not join that line GO TO MARKET ST

HOW TO BE A SELLER?

To participate as a seller, you need to be able to comply with these terms and conditions

​

• $50 fee – Pay on entry (silver coins not accepted).

• Entry to car boot selling area opens at 6.00am. Gates are closed to cars at 7am. 

• There are no good or bad sites, so, rushing to be first in is of no advantage

• Sites are allocated in sequence – you can’t pick your own site – you must follow the directions of staff.

• If you want to have a site next to a friend, the friend must enter directly before, or after you

• Each seller gets 2 car park spaces – one to park the car and one to sell from

• Vehicles must remain until 10am (no early exit)

• Absolutely NO VEHICLE MOVEMENTS BETWEEN 7AM AND 10AM

• If you sell out before 10am, or want to stop selling before 10am, put all of your belongings into your car, lock it up and visit the main market until 10 am exit time.

• Sorry, no takeaway food or drink sellers

• No fruit & veg sellers

• Bring your own equipment if needed eg: shade, tables, racks etc.  Any shade cover must not exceed 2.5m and have adequate weights to prevent it becoming airborne in wind

• Cars, utes, 4WD’s and standard size vans only

• No trailers, trucks or long wheel base vans

• Everything you intend to sell must come in the vehicle you drive in – no additional items can be ‘walked in’ later to add to your site. 

• Max 2 adults including driver can enter in a seller’s car and NO walk in ‘helpers’ prior to 7am

• Pack up is 10am sharp. Everything must be packed away by 10.30am. Once packed up, you are free to leave your vehicle parked where is and visit the main market

• There are 16 cafes or food outlets at Carrara Markets that open early if you wish to purchase food & beverage when you arrive

• There are 2 ATM’s at the Car Boot Sale (main building balcony)

• Don’t forget to bring a change float, hat & sunscreen

• No dogs

• Don’t leave anything behind ie: no rubbish, & we don’t want what you couldn’t sell. ​
