Bring the kids to pat, cuddle & feed our Baby Farm Animals every weekend at Carrara Markets!
Located at our Market Street entrance, the baby animal farm consists of the most adorable baby alpacas, goats, lamb, piglets, chicks, ducklings, geese & guinea pigs.
For a $5 entry, you can enter inside the animal farm to pat & cuddle these adorable babies. And $1 extra for a cup of feed.

GIANT RECYCLED WOOD SCULPTURES
CREATED BY DANISH ARTIST THOMAS DAMBO
Recently Carrara Markets was proud to host Thomas Dambo, a world renowned artist from Copenhagen, Denmark.
Together with his crew, Thomas recently created 3 enormous sculptures at Carrara Markets all completely made from recycled scrapwood, which the markets have collected for Thomas, from old pallets, fencing and timber scraps gathered from around the Gold Coast local area.
Thomas loves the use of ‘trash only’ for his projects, in the hope to inspire people to see the beauty in unwanted material and think of ‘trash’ as fun and creative resource.
Now fully completed, we welcome the public to see how Thomas and his team brought life to piles of recycled scrap wood to form 3 large-scale sculpture installations. Each sculpture depicting an iconic Australian animal … a shark, snake & kangaroo. Each magnificent sculpture is interactive and enables you to step inside for some fantastic photo opportunities.
