For only $25 you can make some cash from your trash!

Or if you love a secondhand bargain then you're sure to find it amongst the boots full of preloved fashion, books, toys, homewares, tools, bibs & bobs!

WHAT

Buy or sell secondhand clothes, furniture, toys, books and bric-a-brac. We also welcome handmade arts & craft. Selling new products is not permitted.

Located in the car park off Gooding Drive.

Sellers entry is via Market Street

HOW TO BE A SELLER?

• To participate as a seller, you need to be able to comply with these terms and conditions

• Car Boot Sellers payments are collected on the day

• $25 fee payable - only correct amount accepted. No silver coins accepted 

• Entry to car boot selling area opens at 6.00am each Sunday.

• NO BOOKINGS REQUIRED FOR SELLERS. Just arrive on the day.

• Gates are closed to cars at 7am unless there is still a line up of cars and spaces are still available

• There are 130 sites available (average number of sellers is 100)

• There are no good or bad sites, so rushing to be first is of no advantage

• Sites are allocated in sequence - you can't pick your own site

• If you want a site next to a friend, the friend must enter directly before or after you

• Each seller gets 2 car park spaces - one to park the car and one to sell from

• Sellers must trade from 7am to 10am (there is no early exit)

• Absolutely NO VEHICLE MOVEMENTS BETWEEN 7AM AND 10AM within the car boot selling area 

• If you sell out, or want to stop selling, put all your belongings in your car, lock it up and visit the main market until after 10am

• All goods sold must be second-hand or personally handmade

• Sorry, no takeaway food or drink sellers

• No fruit & veg sellers

• No selling Trading Cards or Pop Vinyls

• Sellers need to bring their own equipment i.e. shade structure, tables, racks etc. if needed. Car park bays are 2.5 metres wide – so gazebos for example will need to fit within 2.5 metres

• Cars, utes, 4WD's and standard size vans only – no trailers & no trucks or long wheel based vans

• Everything you intend to sell must come in the vehicle you drive in - no additional items can be 'walked in' later to add to your site

• Pack up is 10am sharp. But once packed up you are free to leave your vehicle parked and visit the main market

• There are 16 cafes or food outlets at Carrara Markets that open early if you wish to purchase food & beverage when you arrive

• There are 2 ATM’s at the Car Boot Sale

• Don’t forget to bring a change float, hat & sunscreen

• No dogs allowed at the Car Boot Sale

• Please take your own rubbish home with you. Security CCTV monitoring is active and those leaving any rubbish will not be allowed at future car boot sales 

 

WET WEATHER NOTICE

If you're unsure if the Car Boot Sale is on due to weather, please keep in mind if it is raining heavy around 5am then it is most likely the car boot sale will be cancelled. A decision is made on the day on the weather.
