Casual Stall Information

Casual stalls are available every weekend at Carrara Markets and bookings are taken each week for Saturday or Sunday or both days.
• Booking times are Tuesday to Friday 9am till 1pm on (07) 5579 9388. Bookings are made during the week prior to the weekend that you are booking for. However bookings may be made up until Saturday depending on availability. Walk in casual sites are sometimes available on the weekend, but you do risk our available sites being fully booked. Avoid disappointment and book your site early.
• You are provided with a table and a covered roof at each site. The table size is 1m x 2.4m.
• Stall prices range from $31.00- $45.00 on Saturday and $50.00 on Sunday. Two day rates from $75.00-$90.00 per weekend.
• No arrivals prior to 3:30am.
• Gates open at 4:30am and office opens for stall payments and allocations at 5:00am.
• Stallholders can check in at the Office to pay and be shown allotted areas between 5.00am and 7.00am Sat & Sun.
• Booked stalls not taken up by 7.00am may be re-allocated.
• Trading times are Saturday & Sunday 7:00am till 4:00pm.
• Power is available if required. You will need to bring an extension cord along to access this.
• Stallholders require a cloth to cover your table and a chair to sit on.
• Stallholders must bring sufficient change for customers.
• Special arrangements must be made for space to set up a gazebo or other formats that do not require a standard table and roof space. Please mention to our staff if you need any special requirements.
• No food to be sold that is to be eaten on the premises. No refrigerated drinks to be sold.
• Vehicles not permitted in stall area between 7.00am – 4.00pm Saturday and Sunday.
• Stallholders must ensure their cars are parked in the Stallholders Car Park in Market St. Stallholders cars found in our customer car parks will be charged a $220.00 fee.
• Stallholders must operate within the area provided and not encroach outside the bounds of the stall.

Carrara Markets Casual Stall Policy

• Casual stalls are paid for and allocated on the morning of Market Day.
• Booking a stall assures you of a stall at Carrara Markets. Once available bookings are full, no further bookings will be entertained by this office for that weekend.
• Because Carrara Market offers this surety, it is imperative you advise this office (in a timely manner) if you are not able to honour your booking. A cancellation call at 7am is not adequate.
• Carrara Markets will not take further bookings from casuals who do not advise of non-arrival.
• Stalls are allocated on a ‘first come, best dressed’ basis.
• Premium stalls are rotated at the Markets discretion. Early arrival does not guarantee any Market position but will generally avail you of more options than if you arrive later.
• This office is open from 5am. Casual stallholders must be in and set up by 7am.
• Parking instructions must be observed. Failure to observe parking instructions will affect future bookings.
• While the Market offers no exclusivity for product within the marketplace, care is taken to keep product away from like product. This is done at the Markets discretion.
• Products not described to the Booking Officer at the time of booking may not be allowed to be sold on the day.
• All stallholders must operate from behind their respective stalls. Any peripheral additions to stalls (goods not displayed on tables provided, such as clothes racks or extra tables) must be small, and not protrude beyond the front of the awning or marked yellow line or interfere with adjacent stallholders.
• As Carrara Markets have over 400 stallholders, this office does not provide change to stallholders.
• Sub-letting part of an existing stallholder’s area is not allowed. All letting enquiries must be made through the Market Office.
• All stallholders at Carrara Markets are required to honour ‘Carrara Market Vouchers’. These vouchers are in denominations of $5 and $10 and are dated for expiry. Please check vouchers for expiry date & signature (in red pen). The vouchers can be redeemed at the main office during office hours.
• Stalls must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
• Rents must be paid on allocation of stall. Cash, Credit Cards and EFTPOS are welcome. Cheques are not acceptable from casual stallholder's.

Carrara Markets offers stallholders a comprehensive package of security, carparking attendants, first aid, Public Liability insurance, bus service, office facilities, two ATM machines, advertising and low cost stall rental.
